  • In the medieval town of Semur-en-Auxois, Burgundian historical monument, discover the Colegiale Notre-Dame restored in the 19th century by Viollet-le-Duc, the castle with its square towers, remparts … Every year, the city organizes a medieval festival with the following program: juggling shows, costume parades, a craft market, games, jousting tournaments… 
    In May, come and participate to the festivities “of the Ring”: ring races (with draft horses from Auxois), concerts, torchlight on timpani, funfair…
  • Visit also the Municipal Museum of Semur-en-Auxois.   • The basilica of Vezelay: climb the hill of Vezelay to discover the view and the basilica, important step on the way to St Jacques de Compostelle.
  • Bicyle touring: by bike, ride along the canal of Burgundy with several cycle routes.
    Green lane and other tours take you through the entire region with the most exotic rides.
  • The National regional park of Morvan: a few kilometers southwest of Semur-en-Auxois, Morvan is available to all lovers of nature. On foot, by bike, swimming, in the air, discover this preserved site.
