The medieval city of Semur-en-Auxois

Monument of Burgundian history (the center is 1.4 km from the Hostellerie). Discover the Notre-Dame collegiate church (restored in the 19th century by Viollet-le-Duc), the fortified castle with its corner towers, the ramparts ... Every year, the city organizes a great Medieval Festival with shows on the program. juggling, costume parades, an artisans' market, games, chivalry tournaments ... And in May, take part in the Fêtes de la Bague: ring races (with draft horses from Auxois), concerts , torchlight retreats, timpani races, funfair ...
